Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson has warned the Premier League's new quotas rule could lead to smaller clubs becoming feeder teams for the big boys.
"There are players that will fall into a bit of a twilight zone," he said. "We have to be careful we don't create feeder clubs in the lower levels. If you do that, the club loses its identity.
"It becomes someone else's reserve team and I don't agree with that."
