Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson is confident Ivan Klasnic can handle the boos against Portsmouth.
The Croatia star is likely to get a hot reception after being accused of spitting at England skipper John Terry at Wembley on Wednesday.
Megson said: "I don't know if he'll get any extra stick. But he's here to play and that's what he's going to do.
"He'll play some part at Portsmouth. He's started the season well with Nantes but that was not at the highest level.
"The health problems he's had puts it all in perspective really.
"He had a transplant from his mother that didn't take. He then had one from his father that did.
"Ivan was out for a while but there was never a thought in his mind that he was going to quit.
"Other people make a big fuss of it but Ivan doesn't seem to."
