Bolton Wanderers manager Gary Megson feels he's winning round fans.
"There is spirit, enthusiasm and motivation. I didn't expect a great welcome. Everybody seemed to want Jose Mourinho, Sir Alex Ferguson, that standard of person and that seems to be the norm these days, but I would not criticise people for that. I have to get on with it and so do the players.
"I expected it but I am getting different comments from the crowd now which makes life easier for the players. An intelligent football crowd knows it has a part to play in the success of any club as well as the demise of one.
"We have intelligent supporters who realise what we are trying to achieve."
Megson also revealed: "I remember Bruce (Rioch) saying, 'If ever you get the opportunity to manage Bolton, you must take it because it is a fantastic club, great people, great area.' When the chance came along it didn't take a great deal of thinking about."
