Bolton boss Megson confident fans are with him
Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson is confident the majority of fans are with him.
He said: “I had a bit of a dig but it wasn’t a generalisation of the fans because they weren’t all singing abusive songs.
“But some of them were and they were the people I was having a dig at.
“It was ‘Megson, Megson give us a wave’ at Blackburn and then 40 minutes later I’m being abused.
“The only thing I regret is I’ve given the impression I’m having a go at all the supporters. I’m not.
“I’m having a go at five per cent. I couldn’t give a ***** about it but if the noise affects the club somebody has got to say it’s not helping.”
