Bolton Wanderers boss Sammy Lee is moving for Tottenham midfielder Danny Murphy.

Lee worked as a coach when Murphy, 30, was at his peak at Anfield. But since moving to London, Murphy has struggled to find the sort of form that saw him win nine caps.

Spurs paid Charlton £2million for the Chester-born midfielder but he would now be available for a knock-down £750,000.
