Bolton boss Coyle welcomed by Taylor

Bolton Wanderers winger Matt Taylor has welcomed the arrival of new manager Owen Coyle.

Coyle will take charge of Bolton for the first time today against Arsenal.

And Taylor insists the mood is positive in the camp following the arrival of the Glasgow-born boss.

Taylor said: "As a character, the manager is fantastic. He has been round to talk to us as individuals and his enthusiasm for the game is there for all to see.

"Everyone does things their own way and I am certainly not going to say what is right and what is wrong. It isn't for me to judge.

"Training has been great, though, and the boys seem to be buzzing. It is a new start and that has come as a fresh breath of air to some.

"I don't think that's a slight against Gary Megson, it is just the way things are. For seven to 10 days we were left in limbo a little bit, not really knowing what was going to happen, while Chris Evans was in charge.

"So for that to be sorted, and for the team to know now that we can get back to playing football is a really big lift."
