Bolton boss Coyle wary of overloading Holden

Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle knows he cannot ask too much of returning midfielder Stuart Holden.

The USA international returned to senior action after a six-month absence with a 90 minute shift in Tuesday night's Carling Cup win at Aston Villa but was today given the day off.

Coyle says it has been a great effort for the 26-year old to get back from a serious knee injury but will remain wary of his fitness, indicating that Saturday's meeting with Arsenal may be too much too soon.

"Stuart has come out of a tough game having been out for six months," said Coyle.

"We hope he is fit but we have to make sure we don't put him in a situation that is harmful."
