Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle hopes for three January signings.

The Daily Star says Coyle will pounce for USA defender Tim Ream as a replacement for Chelsea-bound Gary Cahill.

He wants to bring in another two new faces in addition to Ream, but loan signing Gael Kakuta, who failed to make the squad for the 2-0 Boxing Day home defeat to Newcastle, is set to return to Chelsea.
