Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle wants to bring more local lads through their Academy.

Coyle is keen to make a fresh start this summer.

"I'll never blame what went before because I can't affect that," he told The Bolton News.

"But coming in and seeing the infrastructure we have, we need to start getting a return from the academy.

"There is nothing better, I would believe, than a Bolton Wanderers fan going to a game knowing that they have two or three local boys playing in the team.

"There is a connection there, and as I have said before, we want to generate an atmosphere where we are altogether and nothing suits that better than seeing some homegrown players come through the system."
