Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle has urged fans to be patient as he attempts to introduce a new style of play.
Coyle wants fans to be patient as he looks to put his own stamp on his former club.
"I have got a belief on how I want to play and, while that won't happen overnight, as time goes by there will be a gradual evolvement," he said.
"We will play to the strengths we have here. The players are all comfortable on the ball, they are all at this football club because they are good players and it's up to us to get the best out of them.
"I always thought there were good players at this football club and everything I have seen since I have been here convinces me of that fact.
"I do know they have an appetite for work and they recognise we still have a lot of work to do in order to get out of this position."
