Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle says Chelsea remain in the boxseat for Gary Cahill.
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp watched Cahill score the winner at Everton on Wednesday.
And Manchester United are also monitoring him.
Trotters boss Coyle, a friend of Blues chief Andre Villas-Boas, said: "Tottenham have always been admirers.
"But they are more interested in swapping players. We could probably never afford their salaries.
"We have agreed a fee with Chelsea and we honour our word."
