Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle wants Mark Davies to prove his worth against former club Wolves.
The 23-year-old, born and bred in the Black Country, has started the last nine games and is arguably in his most consistent run of form since leaving Molineux in 2009, after a decade spent moving through the youth ranks at Wolves.
"In terms of footballing ability, Mark Davies for me is absolutely as good as there is in the whole of the Premier League," Coyle told the Bolton News.
"Against the ball he could improve. I mean, I played at 10 stone and I know you don't have to be the biggest tackler in the world, but you can be a nuisance and you can get your toe in when you have to.
"That's something he could add to his game.
"I believe Mark Davies could go on and play at any level." "But I speak to him regularly and there are ways in which we could help him realise that potential a lot more.
