Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle has railed against Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer.

The Mirror says after victory over QPR, Coyle was in feisty mood with Match of the Day presenter Shearer who picked out Zat Knight for criticism last week.

The Bolton chief rapped Shearer and said his attack was 'in poor taste' while also questioning Shearer's managerial record at Newcastle United. The BBC did not include the comments in their show.
