Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle plans talks with Arsenal counterpart Arsene Wenger over the coming days regarding a loan deal for Jack Wilshere.
The London Evening Standard says the Gunners travel to the Reebok Stadium on Sunday ahead of next week's rearranged reverse fixture in Coyle's first two matches in charge since leaving Burnley. Coyle had spoken to Wenger about bringing Wilshere to Turf Moor after the two clubs met last month and the Arsenal manager appeared receptive to the idea given their enterprising style of play.
Bolton have been synonymous with a less attractive brand of football and Coyle faces a challenge to convince Wenger that it would be in the midfielder's best interests to join such a club battling to avoid relegation.
