Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle feels the rest of the Premier League now envy Manchester City.
Coyle reckons the sides at the top of the table have got the jitters after City's opening wins - and their latest spending surge.
Coyle, whose Bolton battlers were beaten by classy City last Sunday, said: "There is definitely envy. And you can understand it from supporters of other clubs.
"But the top sides, who have had it all their own way for a long time, are starting to get a bit edgy.
"City have always been a big club but are now backed by serious wealth.
"All of a sudden they are really moving through the gears."
