Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle refused to blame Jussi Jaaskelainen for defeat at Manchester United.
Although he had just made two excellent saves, Jaaskelainen allowed Nani's shot to slip from his grasp three minutes from time and could not recover his ground before Dimitar Berbatov pounced to net the winner.
"It is not my way to apportion blame," said Coyle.
"We have gifted individual players and Jussi is one of them.
"He has been magnificent for me and made one or two outstanding saves, so we have to give balance to it.
"Everything we do, we do it as a group."
