Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle is not interested in the Aston Villa job.
The Daily Star says the candidates have been dropping like flies all week. But any hopes of moving for Everton manager David Moyes or Coyle were also torpedoed.
Moyes is on holiday in Barbados, but has no intention of leaving Goodison to join a club which he feels is selling its best players.
Coyle was initially understood to be interested in the Villa vacancy and wanted the opportunity to talk to Randy Lerner.
But he is not prepared to be only a back-up option after Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez turned Lerner down.
