Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle believes Roberto Mancini is spending Manchester City's transfer money well.
Coyle believes City are the strongest they have been in the Premier League era and credited Mancini for the work he had done.
"City will be a better team than they were last season and that gives us problems," he said.
"Having won the FA Cup last season and qualified for the Champions League you can see how much they have evolved.
"I think that has come from the manager and he has to be applauded.
"It is fine to be afforded that wealth but sometimes you can assemble these players but not necessarily have a great team.
"I think they are getting it right, I think they have got a strong team with good individual players within that. They have integrated that group and they look formidable opposition."
