Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle says Zat Knight could be playing for a top four club if not for one missing ingredient.
Coyle has been impressed by defender Knight since his appointment.
He told the Bolton News: "He looks focused, looks like he wants to be the best he can be, and that's the kind of player I like to work with.
"Zat has got everything in his locker to be a top, top player. What he has to do is do it consistently and that's why players play for Chelsea and Manchester United - it's because they do it week-in, week-out.
"There are players in the Premier League that you see on any given day and think, 'wow, he's outstanding.' The nature of the top, top players is to do it game-in, game-out."
