Bolton boss Coyle keeps door ajar for ex-Rangers young gun Wylde

Bolton manager Owen Coyle says he could make a move for recently discarded Rangers youngster Gregg Wylde.

The 20-year old winger was the first casualty of the fallen 'Gers regime earlier this week and Coyle has kept the door ajar for a possible move for the Scotland U21 international if the situation allows for it.

"Gregg Wylde is a player, as you know, we had an interest in back in August," Coyle told Sky Sports News.

"He is a talented, young player who probably has been caught up in the turmoil at Glasgow Rangers in terms of his performances have been maybe a little up and down, whereas last season when I saw him there was no doubt he was on top of his form.

"At this moment in time as we sit here I have not spoken to anybody regarding Gregg, whether it be his representatives or anybody else, so that's where we are at the moment.

"Whether that changes, who knows? So I think time will tell on that one."
