Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill is being kept up-to-speed over his transfer situation.
Cahill has been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.
"I don't hide anything from anybody," Bolton boss Owen Coyle told the Bolton News. "There has been interest in Gary.
"That's all it has been. Clubs noting their interest, saying they know Gary is a good player, but there hasn't been a concrete bid for Gary as such.
"From his point of view, he gets up every morning and reads another story, written with whatever their agenda is. But I have told him that as soon as I, or Phil Gartside, hear anything concrete then Gary and his representative will be the first to hear. I'm open and transparent about that. Nothing will be hidden from anyone."
