Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle has called for calm ahead of their clash with former club Burnley.
Bolton and Burnley meet at The Reebok on Tuesday in a survival derby that was always bound to inflame passions.
Coyle, branded a "Judas" by embittered Burnley fans, admitted: "As much as there's been things said that people might regret, that's a club that I want only the best for.
"I have a big, big feeling for everybody at that football club and they know that."
Bolton insist their regular security measures will be adequate for the night.
A club statement read: "We shall be working closely with the police, as we usually do. All our staff will be fully briefed, as is normal in all Premier League games."
A Burnley spokesperson confirmed they are also adopting a low key approach, saying: "We're treating it as any other match rather than build up the possibility of trouble."
