Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle hopes Steve Kean gets time at Blackburn Rovers.

Coyle insists it is too soon to judge his fellow Scot.

He said: "Steve is someone I have got a lot of time for. I think he's handled himself well.

"The thing for Steve and Blackburn is that they get through the season and stay in the Premier League. If they are able to do that, and I think they will, they can put their own stamp on things come the summer."
