Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle hopes his team's fight for survival will be boosted by a new signing over the weekend.
Scottish winger Gregg Wylde, 21, joined from Rangers last month but has so far been prevented from playing by red tape.
FIFA blocked his debut while they investigated the circumstances behind his departure from Ibrox but the boss now hopes they are nearly there.
He said: "We've shown he was made redundant, it was not a mutual decision, he is owed money and that he never left with any money.
"Hopefully now, FIFA can give us clearance to have Gregg involved in the last few games. All we can do is await their decision."
