Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle was delighted he didn't see any of his major players sold in January.
Coyle took great pleasure in the fact he could keep his squad together.
"It's the nature of football that names are going to be thrown about right up to the last minute but I had no dialogue about any players, which amazes me, I must say, but by the same token I was delighted by it," he said.
"I stressed, probably from three or four months ago when a set of disappointing financial results came out, that I wouldn't at any time have to break up the squad.
"We have, in fact, added to it and given ourselves a freshness and an energy to look to go and win games again in the Premier League and get ourselves moving again.
"I had 15 players at one point over the New Year, so we needed to address it, and we have.
"I think it has been a very good window for Bolton Wanderers."
