Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle felt Jack Wilshere did not look out of place against Manchester United on Saturday.
The on-loan Arsenal midfielder impressed, despite Bolton conceding four goals on the day.
"Wilshere was outstanding yesterday," said Coyle. "The great thing was that he did it against Manchester United.
"He showed such composure on the ball and his range of passing is excellent.
"England are very fortunate to have a player of that quality at 18 years of age.
"He continues to get better and I have no doubt that in time he will play for Arsenal and be an England international."
