Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle was pleased with Tim Ream's debut for their FA Cup win at Millwall.

Ream's debut, some 24 days after his signing from New York Red Bulls was confirmed, was worth the wait.

The defender had to wade through the red tape to put himself in line for a start in the FA Cup - but Coyle was pleased to see him get straight up to speed.

"Tim never looked out of place," he told the Bolton News. "He looked quick and composed on the ball.

"He won his headers against (Darius) Henderson who is powerful and strong and a handful for most of them.

"We know Tim has pace to burn so no one was going to outrun him."
