Bolton boss Coyle delighted with progress of Ngog
Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle is delighted with the progress of David Ngog.
Coyle reckons there is more to come from the Parisian front man now that he has found a place to call home.
“People forget how young he is, but when I talked to him I said I could give him a game. Now over the last four or five weeks I think we’ve got him into the best shape he’s been in, probably in his career. When you are not starting every week then you can have a feeling that you are not really a part of it – but he knows he is a big part of it here.” He told the Bolton News: “David had nothing to prove to me because I brought him to this club and believed in the quality he had, but – as I said when I brought Daniel Sturridge here on loan from Chelsea – there is no shame in not getting in a Liverpool side ahead of someone like Fernando Torres.
