Bolton boss Coyle delighted for Lambert over Norwich success

Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle is delighted for Paul Lambert over his success at Norwich City.

The Trotters face Norwich today.

Coyle told Absolute Radio: "Yeah, Paul is somebody I know well from his playing days, and then we moved into coaching and management. He's someone I've got an awful lot of time for, he's a gem of a lad, and somebody I like on a personal level very much. In terms of how he's done his job, he's been truly outstanding. If you remember, he was at Colchester and won that game at Norwich, and then he was the one they wanted for the job, and he's come in and transformed the club, and all credit to him. He's got a group of players that are playing out of their skin, again to their maximum, and they're doing it consistently.

"We know it's going to be a tough game, and as I say it's all credit to Paul. They're a fantastic club, Norwich, but we go there in good heart, knowing if we get to our best, it's a game we're capable of winning."
