Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle says the football world came together to will Fabrice Muamba to a healthy recovery.
Coyle revealed that as he followed the ambulance to the hospital Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish was one of the first to get in contact.
Since then every top-flight manager has been in touch and their messages passed on to the stricken star's family.
Coyle said: "Every one of my colleagues in the Barclays Premier League has been in touch - the text messages, voicemail has been incredible.
"You always know when one of you has problems - it doesn't have to be a player.
"But somebody who works for you, it's close-knit. If one of them is hurting, they are all hurting.
"Kenny actually rang me while I was in the police car, I have to say going 120mph driving to the hospital straight after the game.
"I've got to thank him for that. He said I knew where he was if I needed anything.
"I've got a very good relationship with him anyway but to show he cared straightaway sums up the man he is.
"I passed it on immediately to Muamba's father Marcel and fiancee Shauna." David Beckham has been in regular contact from Los Angeles, while Thierry Henry jetted into London from New York to visit his former Arsenal team-mate.
