Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle says he can count on rookie Josh Vela tonight against Tottenham.

Bolton have a midfield crisis on their hands and Coyle reckons Vela's youthful enthusiasm could be just what they need to get out of the bottom three.

He said: "That youthful exuberance, that energy and that desire, that is what I love. The other thing is that Josh has that natural ability.

"It shows the belief I have in him. People can be wary of playing young players. I'm not. I've got no fear of playing young players if I think they are good enough and that's what we need."
