Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle is moving for free agent Dan Gosling.
The People says England Under-21 international Gosling is available for nothing after an administrative blunder by Everton.
Coyle met the England Under-21 midfielder for talks at the Reebok yesterday and has moved ahead of West Ham, Sunderland and Newcastle United in the race to land the kid who is walking out of Goodison for nothing.
Gosling is set to decide on his future in the next 24 hours and Coyle's personal touch may have clinched the transfer - and his advisers are now discussing terms with Wanderers even though he will not be fit for three months.
