Bolton boss Coyle to bid for Burnley winger Elliott

Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle is planning to raid former club Burnley for midfielder Wade Elliott.

The Lancashire Telegraph says Coyle is ready to line up a bid for the Clarets winger and raid his old club, possibly as early as today.

Elliott has been at Turf Moor since Steve Cotterill signed him on a free transfer from Bournemouth in May 2005, agreeing a contract extension under Coyle in 2008.

With a year left to run on that deal, Elliott would command a fee.
