Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson has confirmed they're in talks with Portsmouth for wing-back Matty Taylor.

"We've spoken to Portsmouth and I think, as far as they are concerned and we are concerned, we've got a deal between the two clubs," the Bolton boss said.

"There's five or six clubs that are interested in the lad and we were talking on Friday. I spoke to Harry and he had the game at Portman Road (Pompey beat Ipswich to go through to the 4th round of the FA Cup) and we had our game, so we said we'd resume talks on Monday."
