Bolton approach Stoke for Delap

Bolton Wanderers are keen on Stoke City midfielder Rory Delap.

The Daily Mail says the Trotters have made an enquiry about Stoke's long-throw expert Delap.

They were keen to discover Delap's contractual situation and discovered the midfielder with football's most famous throw-in has 18 months to run on his current deal.

Delap, 32, joined Stoke, initially on loan, from Sunderland two years ago before making the move permanent on a Bosman free in 2007.
