Bolton Wanderers are leading the race for Olympique Marseille's £4 million-rated striker Djibril Cisse.

The Sunday Mirror says Wanderers boss Gary Megson moved immediately for Cisse following Anelka's £15m move to Chelsea after hearing the 26-year-old was surplus to requirements at Marseille.

The deal could go through in the next 48 hours, though Manchester City, West Ham, Fulham and Blackburn are also interested.
