Bolton Wanderers midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker is ready to battle Tottenham's midfield in today's FA Cup tie.

Reo-Coker has had a few war wounds to tell the story of midfield battles with the Tottenham star down the years.

He told The Sun: "Scott (Parker) is exactly the same every time you come up against him. One thing I respect is he always wears his heart on the sleeve, gives 100 per cent and thoroughly deserves what he's achieved in the game.

"Scott does the defensive midfield role well and then you've got creative players like Luka Modric, Gareth Bale, Aaron Lennon and Emmanuel Adebayor who get forward."
