Bolton accept Man City, Arsenal target Cahill must be sold

Bolton Wanderers accept they will have to sell Gary Cahill this summer.

The Mirror says Cahill looks certain to leave Bolton.

The club are resigned to losing Cahill, a target for Manchester City and Arsenal, and want a package worth around £17m.

City have knocked back Owen Coyle's cheeky suggestion to include Belgian centre-half Dedryck Boyata in any deal.

However, Eastlands chiefs do want to balance any spending by offloading some fringe players so they can contain their massive wage bill.
