Italian club Bologna are now believed to be preparing the sale of Alessandro Diamanti to China.
The 30-year old midfielder has been pushing for a move to Chinese Super League and Asian champions Guangzhou Evergrande but it appeared earlier this week that Rossoblu president Albano Guaraldi was unwilling to sell.
However, Tuttomercatoweb suggests that Bologna are now looking to accept an 8million transfer fee after bringing in Brazilian midfielder Ibson from Corinthians.
Diamanti will now get the chance to link up with Italy's World Cup-winning boss Marcello Lippi in Guangzhou with a move expected before the end of February.
