Bologna striker Manolo Gabbiadini says Italy can win the U21 Euros after victory over Israel.

The Azzurrini have already qualified for the semi-final thanks to back-to-back victories over England and the hosts.

"It is important for a striker to get back to scoring goals, but considering it was crucial that we win tonight, it meant even more," the Bologna forward told Rai Sport.

"We did well to bring home the points, as it was not easy going in. It's pleasing to score, of course, but the primary objective is to take the team all the way. We want to win the Euros."
