Bologna sign Barcelona midfielder Marti Riverola

Bologna have clinched the signing of Barcelona midfielder Marti Riverola.

Bologna have agreed a four-year contract with Barcelona youngster Riverola, confirmed his agent.

“The lad has signed for four years, but will only arrive at Bologna in June,” explained Diego Tavano.

“All told Barcelona will receive €450,000 as a UEFA compensation, which means the deal is an absolute bargain for the Italians.

“Riverola is very similar to Alberto Aquilani, although maybe with a bit more quality and less physical strength, but those are his characteristics.”
