Bologna have named Stefano Pioli as new coach.

Bologna sacked Pierpaolo Bisoli earlier today and they have wasted no time in appointing a replacement.

Pioli, sacked by Palermo in pre-season, has signed a two-year contract at the Stadio Dall'Ara.

He will be presented to the local media later today.
