Bologna are chasing former Aston Villa midfielder Michael Bradley.
The USA international is available from Borussia Monchengladbach.
It's reported Bologna have approached the German club with an offer of 5m.
The Rossoblu hope to develop and intensify talks over the next few days to bring Bradley to Italy.
