Bologna are finalising a co-ownership deal for Brescia attacking midfielder Alessandro Diamanti.

The former West Ham United player could not stop Brescia from being relegated to Serie B last season.

It's widely reported that Bologna have reached an agreement to buy half his contract from Brescia for €1.5m.

It would bring the 28-year-old to the Stadio Dall'Ara and back into Serie A, while leaving 50 per cent of his ownership in the hands of Brescia.
