Bologna are expected to confirm today a new contract signed by striker Marco di Vaio.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Di Vaio met Bologna's directors with his agent on Tuesday to sign a two-year deal without an option for a third.

It is understood he will also be offered a four-year deal to work for Bologna either as an ambassador or as a director.

Incidentally, Di Vaio has accepted a 20 per cent wage cut to help Bologna through these difficult financial times.
