Bologna are tipped to pursue a deal for Liverpool outcast Mario Balotelli.

Bologna chairman Joey Saputo has spoken of their interest in the Reds flop this week.

Mediaset's football chief Niccolo Ceccarini can see the deal happening, as he explained on TMW Radio: "I think its more Bologna.

"Saputo last night hinted that a half-opening can be there. We'll see. We still do not yet know how the story will evolve.

"I think Balotelli could be a hypothesis regarding Bologna. The problem remains the contract."
