Bologna deny Roma contact for Perrotta

Bologna have cooled talk of a deal for AS Roma midfielder Simone Perrotta.

The 34 year-old has been linked with relegation-haunted Bologna this week.

“I honestly don’t know who starts these rumours,” Bologna Vice-President Maurizio Setti told Voce Giallorossa.

“We have never been in touch with anyone with regard to signing Perrotta.

“We rate him as an excellent player, but we are well covered in the role that he plays. I can categorically deny these rumours.”
