Bologna have announced the signing of Brescia attacking midfielder Alessandro Diamanti.
The 28-year-old, who won his only Italy cap last year, has been linked with a number of clubs after he was relegated with Brescia last term.
Serie A rivals Sampdoria and Fiorentina had both reportedly been keen on the former West Ham United player, but Bologna confirmed his signature this evening.
"Bologna FC 1909 is able to communicate that we have reached an agreement with Brescia Calcio for the transfer of Alessandro Diamanti on a co-ownership deal," a statement on the club's official website, www.bolognafc.it, read.
