Bologna management insist coach Sinisa Mihajlovic's job is safe, despite their 4-1 thrashing by Siena.

"It was an indecent performance," snapped director general Nelso Ricci. "Every element of it was terrible. We deserved the defeat and the insults of our fans.

"I did not expect this after the good performance against Roma, as the lads were fired up and in good shape, but we ran into this dreadful defeat.

"However, we renew our confidence in Mihajlovic because aside from this bad performance and very negative result, we can see he believes in the squad and the individual players.

"One bad game cannot automatically lead to a sacking. For the moment Mihajlovic is not up for discussion."
