The agent of Aussie midfielder Carl Valeri has revealed the interest of Serie ABologna.

Valeri is tied to Sassuolo in Serie B, but is ready to move this summer and would welcome the chance to play again for Bologna coach Stefano Pioli.

Pioli is a former Sassuolo coach and also worked with Valeri at Grosseto.

Agent Luca Urbani told Calciomercato.com: "Valeri would be very glad and happy to work again with Mr. Pioli - but we must also see clearly the intentions of the Bologna.

"He, among other things, is out of contract and the sooner we can make a decision on his future the better."
